What’s included in the Essentials / Premium service?
Essentials covers all the key areas of your home—kitchen, bathrooms, surfaces, hoovering, and mopping. Premium includes all of that, plus extras like bed changing and more detailed tasks.  Our cleaners work to a checklist which ensures consistent high standards. The checklist can be tailored to suit your requirements.

Can I customise what’s cleaned?
Yes! Just let us know your priorities and your cleaner will follow them each visit.

Do you clean ovens or the outside of windows?
No, we don’t offer oven or external window cleaning—but we can recommend local specialists.


📅 Bookings & Scheduling

How do I book?
Just head to brightonhousekeeping.co.uk, choose your service, and book online. You’ll see your quote instantly.

What days and times do you clean?
We clean Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm. You’ll be given a regular day and time.

Can I skip a clean while I’m away?
We charge for all scheduled visits—even when you’re away—so we can keep your cleaner’s hours consistent. But while you’re away, it’s a great chance to have those extra tasks done (e.g. windows, woodwork, etc.).

What if I need to cancel or move a clean?
Please give us as much notice as possible. Short-notice cancellations are chargeable, but we’ll do our best to offer an alternative.

Will I have the same cleaner every time?
Yes, we’ll assign you one regular cleaner so they can learn your home and routine.

Are your cleaners DBS-checked and insured?
Yes. All Brighton Housekeeping cleaners are fully insured and DBS-checked.

What if my cleaner is off sick or on holiday?
If your cleaner is away, we’ll let you know. If it’s a short break, we won’t send a replacement and you’ll be refunded. If the absence is longer, we’ll do our best to offer a trusted cover.

Do I need to be at home?
No—you can give us access instructions or provide a key. Most clients are out while we clean.


💳 Payments & Policies

How do I pay?
We invoice monthly in advance. You can pay by bank transfer or set up a standing order.

Do you charge by the hour?
No, we charge by the job. This helps us maintain consistent quality and focus on results.

Do I need to commit to a contract?
Yes, we ask for six weeks’ notice if you wish to cancel. This allows us to plan staffing and give your cleaner job stability.

What areas do you cover?
We cover Brighton, Hove, and nearby areas. If you’re unsure, feel free to get in touch.

Can I give feedback?
Yes, absolutely. We love hearing how we can improve or tailor the service for you.
